Masala corn

   

This is the most easiest and healthy anytime snack. I love having snacks during my evening time,  I do not mind whether it is baked or fried or steamed as long as it is delicious. But there are times when my inner self wakes up and craves for something healthy. 


Masala Corn is a very popular snack in India and is served in stalls along roads and around eateries in various parts of the country. The snack is loved by children as well as adults and is also more healthy and nutritious than fast foods and cookies.

It is very quick and easy to make, it is very healthy and has all the flavors needed to make a great snack. Salty, Sweet, Sour, Spicy.

Ingredients
  •  2 tsp chilli powder
  •  4 cups boiled sweet corn kernels
  •  2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tsp chaat masala
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt to taste        
Method 

  • Heat the butter in a broad non-stick pan, add the sweet corn kernels, and cook on a medium flame for 1 or 2 minutes.
•   Add the chilli powder, chaat masala,        lemon juice and salt, mix well and cook on a medium flame for a few minutes.

• Serve immediately.
